The Computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics is a situational judgement admissions test that aims to measure traits like professionalism, ethics, communication, and empathy. This exam is not used by all medical schools. Before registering for the CASPER exam, you should check the requirements for the medical schools to which you intend to apply. Note that this is not a multiple-choice exam; you will watch a scenario video and enter a typed response. It is recommended that you practice your typing skills and speed in preparation for test day.
