The Pre-Health Advising Department, including the Director of Pre-Health Advising and Pre-Health Advisor(s) are the primary Academic Advisors for the students in the PRIME+ program. Pre-Health Advisors will meet with students through individual appointments, providing current and accurate information for medical school application and preparation as well as other allied health programs. Through individual appointments and workshops, help students with course selection, development of extracurricular activities, and discuss academic performance and implications for professional and graduate school health programs. Additionally, pre-health advisors will collaborate closely with staff in the Office of Medical Education and plan as well as lead activities for the Next Generation Health Professions LLC (Living Learning Community), a community of students living in a residential hall on campus who aspire to pursue a health career.
